What to check in-game

Use these notes to understand each round, system, and possible outcome, then follow the related pages for route-specific help.

The door is the decision point

Visitors present a story at the front door, but the story alone is often insufficient. Before choosing, compare direct view with the relevant camera, listen for voice or environmental contradictions, and use night vision when the current clue calls for it. The visitor checker names the reported clue type and fails closed when no complete tell has been collected.

The house is part of the evidence

The current walkthrough evidence uses the backyard camera, parents' room, kitchen sink, oven, hall, and other rooms as story checks. A visitor can mention a dog, cat, water problem, or fire, and the correct next action is to inspect the matching location rather than guess from appearance alone.

Chores and survival run in parallel

Nine collected chores span the kitchen, bedrooms, living room, hallway, bathroom, and doorways. Finish each interaction completely, then return to the door-and-camera loop. If progress stalls, recheck small objects, room edges, dirty windows, spider webs, the coffee dial, or the final refrigerator step for tomorrow's lunch.
